The Museum “Maggio” is located in the premises of the ancient “Rocca” of the Capital City – home of the Multipurpose Cultural Centre “Arrigo Benedetti”. The Museum of the Maggio presents itself not only as a place where you store the recent and distant traces of one of the most unique forms of popular spectacle of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and in particular of cheese-Modena slopes, but also as a living testimony of a possible, tenacious coexistence between past and future, between tradition and innovation, between the old style and technology.
